Mechanical Ramps

Showroom Ramp Before Final Asphalt.

The Challenge

This new dealership has limited real estate with a grade problem. The back part of the property was lower than the front. The dealership needed a way to access the show room and a conventional ramp would not work. A further constraint was the ramp must be strong enough to allow vehicles, including dumpster trucks, to drive across it when it was in the lowered position. Stokes Industries solved this challenge.

Ramp Under Construction

The Ramp was fabricated on-site, while showroom was being finished. The ramp was designed to be level with the finished asphalt when lowered. It could be raised or lowered from touchscreens located in the showroom and adjacent to the ramp.
