Tavern on the Green is a world-famous restaurant in Central Park in Manhattan, NY.
One of its most notable features was the creation of large ice sculptures for special parties such as birthdays and weddings. These ice sculptures were carved in a cold area in the kitchen and then, at the proper time, transported to the party area. The problem was that many times the cart, transporting the sculpture, had to pass over very irregular floors including tile, wood, heavy carpet and grass.
Stokes Industries designed a special cart that could carry these delicate creations with a minimum of shaking and vibrating.
